Drink Driving Seminar, 24 April 2012, Brussels.

The European Transport Safety Council (ETCS) will hold a Drink Driving Seminar in Brussels. The ETSC Drink Driving Policy Network project aims to contribute to reducing alcohol-related road deaths and injuries through the identification and promotion of best practice in both policy and advocacy. The conference is organised on 24 April at the Renaissance Hotel, Rue du Parnasse 19 Brussels.

European Commission Vice-President Siim Kallas will give the keynote speech at the Seminar that will be an opportunity to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders involved in the fight against drink driving. Mr. Kallas's speech will be followed by the launch of the latest ETSC publication on EU Member States' performance in tackling drink and by panel discussions providing examples of good practices in reducing the number of road deaths attributed to alcohol.
